Clip extracts exact pixel colors from your screen, so the hex values are highly accurate. Clip's algorithm also filters out near-duplicate colors and prioritizes the most visually significant colors in your selection.

Yes! Clip works on virtually any webpage, including complex web apps, images, and dynamic content. The only exceptions are browser-restricted pages like the Chrome Web Store and internal chrome:// pages. Some webpages require use of the eyedropper based on how the page is constructed with HTML/CSS, but you can clip or eyedrop and get anything you want.

Click any color in your palette to copy the hex code to your clipboard. You can also open the Export panel to copy your entire palette as a hex list, CSS variables, or a JSON array. New in 2.1: download your palette directly as a JSON or CSV file with full hex and RGB data included.

Blend takes all the colors currently in your palette and calculates their average to produce a single new color. The blending happens in HSL color space, which keeps the result vibrant instead of washing it out to gray. Once you see the blended color, you can add it to your palette with one click. It is useful for finding a unifying midtone across a set of brand colors or just experimenting with what sits in between the colors you have collected.

Install Clip Mojo from the Chrome Web Store, then click the extension icon to open the sidebar panel. Hit the "Clip Colors" button, drag a selection box over any area of the webpage, and Clip will automatically extract the dominant colors from that region. You can also use the eyedropper tool to pick individual pixel colors. Selected colors can be added to your palette, sorted, blended, and exported in multiple formats.
